Van der Valk
As a family-run company with a pedigree that spans generations, Van der Valk understands the value of building yachts that stand the test of time; it is the DNA of their approach. The creator of bespoke yachts that function equally as well as they look, Van der Valk owes its ongoing enduring success to an unwavering dedication to their key values; reliability, cooperation and a forward-thinking approach.
Over the years, they have established themselves as a yacht builder that can be relied upon for outstanding quality: One could even call their approach of offering superbly equipped semi-custom or bespoke vessels at the price of conventional production series motor yachts as somewhat rebellious.

As a family-run company with a pedigree that spans generations, Van der Valk understands the value of keeping one’s word and creating yachts that stand the test of time.
With a depth of understanding and experience in building yachts entirely to the client’s own specifications, and with ample possibilities for customisation in finishing, equipment and specifications, only innovative and distinctive motor yachts are the product of this yard.
Van der Valk are unrivalled in their ability to produce extraordinarily stunning and unique yachts to highly bespoke specifications at a sensible price level. About
A passionate yachtsman and water sport enthusiast, Wim van der Valk founded the company that bears his name in 1967 and remains the driving force behind it today. Since its inception, Van der Valk has built a rich heritage in both steel and aluminium motor yachts. The success of the first cabin and aft-cabin design cruisers measuring from seven to ten metres quickly attracted widespread acclaim from the yachting public. Today, Van der Valk’s production facilities in Waalwijk (NL) produce only a select number of bespoke yachts every year. This ensures unrivalled quality and exclusivity for individual owners.
Ever since Van der Valk was founded in 1967, final product quality has been their highest priority. The yard’s professionals are selected both for their skill and for their passion for yachtbuilding. All take great pride in their work and are dedicated to ensuring that even the smallest details are executed perfectly. A unique combination of talents – old-school craftsmanship, passion, pride and precision – ensures that the yachts they create are of consummate quality.
Quality and craftsmanship are associated with delicate, pure materials. Naturally, they set the highest standards where components and materials are concerned: these are all carefully selected for quality, appearance and durability.
Specialised joiners build fully personalised and bespoke interiors. They do not use standard moulds, simply because every yacht is unique. Each interior is entirely built with resolutely contemporary tools and methods – but traditional and artisanal priorities and attention to detail are proudly maintained. These attitudes and processes are reflected in every step of the building process.
Each and every yacht benefits from the strictest quality control and a first-rate construction process. Only after intensive sea trials and quality control procedures can boats leave the yard for delivery to their new owners.
